Pick one of the presidents in this week’s assignment – Washington, Jefferson or Lincoln. Watch all the videos provided for that president in this week’s lecture before responding to the discussion questions below.  As you watch the videos, think about the consequences of those decisions.  If you wish jot down notes for yourself as you watch the videos in order to help you answer the questions for this post.

The precedents set by these three Presidents were far-reaching.  Of the president you selected, what precedents did he set with the decisions he made that are in effect today?  What do you think – was the decision a good one, or did it have unfortunate unforseen consequences?
