Neurobiological Disorders
Choose any one of the disorders (developmental disorder, mood or psychotic disorder, degenerative neurological disorder) discussed in this course and research that disorder in more depth. Describe the disorder, including its causes, effects, symptoms, and potential treatments, and discuss which neurobiological systems those treatments affect. Finally, discuss treatment of the disorder from a biopsychosocial perspective.
This will be a written research paper that should be 4 to 5 pages in length, double-spaced using a 12 point font, or 2 to 3 pages single-spaced for the purpose of posting it into the discussion forum. As you will post your paper directly into the discussion forum for Week 14 as an Initial Response, there is no need for a cover page. However, the use of supplemental sources such as outside textbooks, peer reviewed articles, and/or government or university web sites is required for this assignment, so be sure to cite your references at the end of your work.
