Juvenile, social science assignment help

Chapter One talks about Tina and Sara. Sara, the mother, had to work long hours, and was afraid of leaving her children (Tina and her younger brother) with another caregiver because of the previous sexual abuse that they had suffered by their neighbors’ son. Sara had a routine the children were supposed to follow after school, which was to call Sara periodically to check in. Unfortunately, there were often several hours between the time Tina and her younger brother came home and the time Sara got off from work. The calling did not work because the children were still let unsupervised for a long period of time. This lead to sexual play between the siblings since they both had been sexually abused before.
