We all suffer from some type of bias. This Journal entry is an opportunity to safely process any biases you may have and consider what you need to do to deal effectively with the challenges your biases may cause you as a professional counselor.

In 1–2 paragraphs, briefly describe a specific client population (differentiated by culture, ethnicity, gender, diagnosis, etc.) with which you think it would be the most challenging for you personally to work. Explain why you think working with this specific client population might be challenging for you. Then, explain how you plan to address these challenges in order to work effectively with individuals in the identified client population.
