1. Read about psychoactive drugs:
The U. S. Government has been conducting a “War on Drugs” campaign for over 3 decades. It has focused on stopping the importing and selling of certain psychoactive substances. Society condemns the use of some psychoactive substances, but condones the use of others. Part of the confusion results from unclear definitions of the term “drug”? How would you define “drug” in this context?
2. Write 200 to 300 words describing what you think the definition of “drugs” should be. How might your improved definition help society deal with the problems presented by drugs and/or addiction?
