You are to write a critical analysis of either a film or music genre based on the content of the topic chosen as it pertains to class, lecture, the text(s) of this class, and appropriate outside sources in a theme reflective of Chapter 7: Deviance and Crime.You are encouraged to consult with the Writing Center for further details regarding this.
Film Analysis
- You do NOT need preapproved for your selected film; however, it is suggested that you do.
- 4–5 page, double–spaced, Times New Roman, 12-font.
- APA formatting and a Work Cited page.
- You do NOT need a cover page.
- You may elect to synthesize your material based on the characters, the story, the events, or any combination thereof.
Musical Genre Analysis
- You do NOT need to get preapproval of your selected genre of music; however, it is suggested that you do.
- You must include a minimum of two different songs from the selected genre.
- 4–5 pages, double–spaced., Times New Roman, 12-font.
