different emphasis on the role of one’s internal state, psychology assignment help

We all need some type of motivation to keep us going, in life and in school. For school, if we lose our motivation, it is hard to find the desire to study, participate, and complete assignments. Gardner & Barefoot (2014) states that “Many students of all ages question their decision to attend college and might sometimes feel overwhelmed by the additional responsibilities it brings.”

Each theory of motivation noted in this week’s lesson (instinct, drive, arousal, incentive, and hierarchical) places a different emphasis on the role of one’s internal state. For your response, describe whether or not you recognize when you are losing motivation? What is the first thing you do to remedy that? What if that does not work? How can you use positive self-statements to help maintain your motivation?
