Description of a setting, Wk 6 – Eng 294 – Journal 11 assignment help

If you have an idea for your short story, take one of the characters, and freewrite about that character in another setting, outside the confines of the story you are thinking about. Th goal is to get to know your character better by fleshing out details that come from another situation. Try to make the new setting be something very different from the setting of the story.

If you don’t yet have an idea, write a description of a setting — of a place, a bulding, a town, an island — somewhere you’d like to see fictional characters work out their stories. Provide a lot of detail! Don’t limit yourself to what you know. MAKE IT UP.

Plan to spend about ten minutes writing.
