When I think of ethics, I think of a person’s core beliefs that can be obtained through experience, relationships, and society. Without reading the text or having any background on what to expect in the course, I think we will examine the common misconceptions around ethical beliefs and provide an interpretive analysis around sensitive situations.

An example of something I strongly believe in, is that there are two sides to every story, and statistics/facts can be misquoted to the benefit of the storyteller. From a scientific standpoint, researchers have to test, retest, and peer review each other’s work in order to make a claim that is credible. From an individual conflict standpoint, each person involved has their own interpretation of what actually happened (including eyewitnesses). We do not actually know what happened without physically being present while having an unbiased opinion.
