It has to be 4 pages not including the work cited. (It doesn’t not require a cover page) I have to have 6 sources but my research paper is based on two short stories by Joyce Carol Oates called “Heat”and “Where are you going, where have you been?”So that takes care of 2/6 sources, which means I only need 4 other sources. My thesis statement is: Joyce Carol Oates’ experiences in life reflect in her writings “Where are you going, Where have you been?” and “Heat” The tragedies experienced by the characters in the stories are examples of things that happen in people’s everyday lives. There’s a loss of innocence experienced by the characters shown through rape, murder, and kidnapping.
